  Board of Directors

The board of directors is elected by the members from the membership.  They provide general direction and control of the credit union and meet once a month.  The Act and By-laws require that the board consist of an odd number of credit union members, not fewer than 5 nor more than 15.  No member of the board may, as such be compensated.

The board elects the credit union's officers, one of whom may be compensated, from its own number.  These officers, whose titles are determined by the board are the chair, one or more vice chairs, a financial officer, and a secretary.  The directors may employ and fix the compensation of any other employees they deem necessary to carry out the credit union's operations.

The board may also establish committees from among members to assist in the management of the credit union.  Some committee examples include a budget committee, marketing committee and delinquent loan committee.  If you would like to be on the board of any of the committees, we welcome your participation.  Please contact on of the board members or call the credit union office.
